I can say that I have owned both species at a fairly large size
In my album is my old 14" Goliath with a 12-13" armatus n a 9-10" gold wolf
To each their own but I like VATF!! Maybe the only fish I have ever kept for this long Lol. Usually I keep them for a couple weeks/months then let them go...
If you look at YouTube vids, you will right away see the difference in swimming habits. If I wanted a fish with teeth that are not that active, I would go for a reg black wolf
