im sure youve all heard or sin this pic .
well im tryin to find a recent picture of it as it has been preserved. does anybody know wer i can find recent pictures or maybe a website with it featured. or even maybe a destination to help me find it

The Gator Gar in that picture is not exceptionally large.. It just looks like that because of the person in the picture. That person is not standing just behind the Gar, but quite some way behind..

You can find several pictures of Gator Gars of that size and possibly larger via a simple image search on Google.

A few examples:

Cheers,

tbh it looks massive but then again the person does look small but is that because of the size of the gar lol.

its not the fact that i want to see huge gars .. but i wana see a recent picture of this gar. just see how . im kinda curios tbh.
thanks sid. the last 1 looks FAT lol

Sid I don't agree with you. That thing is huge. When you look at the fish, look at it and compare it to the saw horses its sitting on. My guess is those are true 2 x 4's the saw horse is made from.

Even basing your guess of the saw horse size, the gar still can't be more than 6.5-7' long, which is not really that Huge of a gator gar, especially since the picture was taken to make it look more like 10' long.

just curious, why do you want to see a picture of the preserved fish? it'll look just like it does in the picture you posted except most likely in a tank of 75% ethanol

I would say the saw horses are at least 2'6" high. That would make that gar at least 10' long.

well i dnt actually know.. i was reading abit about this gar n it sed it is preserved n i wanted to see how it held up lol
