could gator gar illegal in philippines?

my friend said to me that our local petshop near by my home ,that they have a gator gar

i said to my friend ''your crazy'' !!!

im shock and the price was low ..a single gator gar 5'' cost 250 pesos

i have gar but not gator gar..

i have to check out this mistery fish ...this weekend

I sold my one quite cheap in the UK people don’t have the tanks for these fish. I take it you know how big these bad boys get? (The alligator gar (Atractosteus spatula) is one of the largest freshwater fish I said one before every one starts quoting facts and figures.)
And how do you know how long they live. They are a really cool fish but it’s finding the person to take it on when you can’t fit it in a tank any more. My one is up for sale again its now over 2 ft and has problems turning in the tank.
