Yes.. I am going to do a pond soon and I want to have some gator gars in it.

Zix, it is obvious that a central northern american fish is quite able to live in a pond in the Algarve......year round. We don't know what cold is, in the Algarve.

yea but this year was realy cold , the weather is been crazy , see this weak have been raining and i live inland up in the hills , is a bit coller than near the sea, wow you gone do whit yours ? LX is even colder

Im sure gar can take very low temperatures and survive.
But im sure it will severly stress the animal
