funny thing is that when i first looked at the pics, i thought the hippo was swallowing the croc, but on closer inspection looks like he is just bitting him in half... not what north americans think when we hear of hippos.

Whenever I think of hippos I think of teeth and imminent death. I've heard of this happening before, but this picture really shows how violent that battle would be.
