I've never seen one for sale I hope I do in the future though absolutely gorgeous and seems to have a good personallity too! imo the build kind of resembles an rtc. fishman is he in fully freshwater (i'm assuming so cuz of the oscars) or is it slightly brackish?

Seems that this fish is freely anadromous. i can't really find a word that describes a fish that can live in both fresh and salt water. Anadromous means migrating from salt water to fresh water to breed, and catadromous means migrating from fresh to salt to breed. They also describe it as demersal which means to inhabit the bottom of the body of water they live in. So from information provided I am assuming they could live in fully fresh or fully salt water. I'm sure you'd have to slowly acclimate it to which every you wanted it to be in though. i doubt they swim back and fourth very fast as that would screw up their osmotic regulation. Might even get a little thing called osmotic shock which occurs when you place fresh in salt or salt in fresh.

Very cool fish.. reminds me alot of our native cats.. but certaintly uniquely different.
