GE silicone 2 alternative

So far all the stores I've checked only have the new stuff with the bio what ever it is (mildew resistance). What's the next alternative?

I think they've changed all their stuff now though. Even the Door & window has the Bio stuff now.

How much does the RTV 108 run? I don't really need a superior strength stuff as it's just to hold down the background / land area so if it's crazy high priced, I need to check out the others.

GE Silicone I and II window and door are fine. GE I uses Acetic acid to cure and GE II uses Ammonia. Last time I checked home depot (2 days ago) I didn't see anything extra in the GE I or II window and door.

i prefer dow 832 with primer.....not clear HOWEVER


we had to jack hammer the old 1.5 inch plexi off its SS frame....pics to follow.......i could not believe how well the 832 silicone bonded and how hard it is to break the plexi !!!!!!
