Here is a gecko we want to get but we dont know if its a fat tailed or just a lepored gecko. I read theres a big difference between the two, such as one needs a humidity enclosure and the other sand. Can anyone tell me what he is?

really leos and fat tails are almost the same in husbendry terms fat tails just like it a little more moist. Leos come from a dryer evoiurment but as long as both of them have a hot spot in the tank like 75 80 farenhight you should be good :)

Definitely a leo (that much I can tell), but Coura, how do you know it's male?

My guess in the second to last pic the lump at the base of the tail. I can't be 100% sure without seeing the underside but I think Coura is right.
