Tokays get larger and have a bad attitude, I wouldnt suggest it for a starter. I think a leopard is a great way to start

I agree. That or a Crested Gecko.

No matter what you get just get the standard natural species.
Cost is much less, so If you decide reptiles are not your thing or kill it off your first go around..your out a lot less money.

Still go to Reptile Shows and look around.

Alright out if leopards,flying,and cresteds. I like the flying and leopards more... What's the general cost for subadults/babies?

You can get Flying Geckos for about $16 and you can get standard Leopards for around $25
I forgot to mention...Flying Geckos are communal..You can house more than 1 in a Tank

African Fat-Tailed Gecko. Can't rule those out, they're cool too.

Tokay geckos are pretty aggressive, I tried to pick up a wild one and it was pretty mean
