The snakeskin will be a tetra eater when it gets to 6"+.
I have four keyholes and no, they are not giants. They max out at 6", but like Ryan said, they will likely stop at 4-5". They are super mild mannered and shy and they NEED dithers to make them comfortable or you will never see them.
I like the idea of geos. You can find them in the range of 4-16", so it will really depend on what you are wanting in the size of your fish. I just got my six red head tapajos geos in today (acclimating them now) and they will reach 8" max, but again, max sizes are only under the absolute best conditions. So I will likely see some 6" males and some 4" females. Larger species see altifrons and brasilensis (no idea if I even spelled that correctly, so sorry if I failed there) as being some of the more common and readily available species in stores that sell them. Winemilleri geos seem to be rising rapidly in popularity (at least the people I have spoken to about geos have been excited to see them on the market as they have been very hard to find until recently, though they are still hard to come by).
