Geo. Brasiliensis with other geos?

If you can find some Iporangensis might be a better fit. They are probably just as aggressive, but don't grow as large, and hence would probably not take up as big of a territory.

I am more interested in just picking one of the two kinds...I am leaning to the tapajos...I really have enjoyed them growing up in the tank in my office. I really like the g bras too but i can get similar coloring from something else.

My iporangensis are very aggressive for geos and constantly square off with my Nic. They don't have a set territory unless they're ready to lay eggs, the rest off the time the 4 of them think the entire 125 is theirs.

The thing about braziliensus, is they are from the southern part of Brazil, a more temperate climate. Not as in need of cold as Gymnos , but, a bit cooler than the tropical Geos, a constant tropical temp seems to make them even more aggressive with and hard on other less robust Geos.

I personally wouldn't keep iporangensis or brasiliensis with a group of red head tapajos. IME both can be nasty SOB's, and won't allow your tapajos to truly shine as they will in a species tank.
