Geo Orange Head compatability?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hi Nuthman... Really curious about the BA tetras.. In the past I have always found them to be nippy... Do you think they are going after the bolivians fins or is just the activity bothering them?? Other than that sounds like you are well underway... Still can't believe you have access to soooo many wonderful fish:drool::drool::drool:... Can't wait for pics:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:.
Why do you say you have problems with the sand... I have the pool filter sand and find it very easy to clean in the tank 4x2x2... yes I have to stand on a step stool... but hey I am only 5'2 inches so for almost any tank I am standing on a stool.. the only difference is how many steps up:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:..
I think you're gonna love your tank once you get the ohs in there.. Good luck with the megasema. I am curious about them as I have been reading since you mentioned them and there seems to be quite a variation in opinions as to their size etc.. also it seems some may have been improperly id just as happens with quite a few geos/gymnos.. Take care Sue:D

Thanks Sue~

They don't seem to be nipping, (The BA's). They seem more nippy with themselves, not anyone else.

The Nieva did just great with them and my Balzanii (Who was a gift from a friend - The 3rd wheel in his quest to Breed Balzanii) who's fins were a bit sniped when I got him, is starting to get some great finnage. Things just need to settle. I can't wait for Sunday for more Oh's and The Megasema....

I have not had trouble with sand in my shorter tanks, just the 220 is 31" high and the stand is about 36" so I need a stepladder to get in, and it's a pain to get to the bottom, all the way in to my pits, the sand is fine, I just am not a fan of the higher tanks, I'd trade my 6'-220 for a 7'-210 anyday. I had a 8'-300 gallon acrylic all set, but could not get it down the basement, and the wife was not so keen on my idea of sawing out part of the wall, just for a lil while....

I'm set on 10 Megasema this weekend, already cleaned the GO tank, and psyched!

Pics are coming!

:D
