geography question for all you smarties....

The annual swelling is due to the monsoon cycle, where and when it rains like the beginning of time for three months non-stop. Not only does this fill or re-fill lakes and rivers in the tropics, it also creates TEMPORARY lakes, rivers and streams that run dry the rest of the year.

Also, all water molecules on earth have spent some time in salt-laden water, and some time in freshwater. The hydrological cycle is so universal that ever drop of rain water has passed completely through an animal's waste system.

Also, we're not running out of fresh water at all. The amount of freshwater on this planet is generally constant, we are just constantly increasing the human pressure on it.

Well, we are running out of freshwater, kinda.

Alot of it comes from rain and a lot of it comes from ground water (underground rivers and whatnot).
It evaporates out of the ocean (leaving behind all the salt and whatnot) and moves to land where it rains down and builds up into rivers.

In stupid(er) terms.

well we does be losing allotta us's waters without saltsies

big waters come from sky-pee and more big waters come from down under rivers then flies to the lands and falls and make water flows!

:)

Ahh you ass! you made me spray beer all over my computer screen.:WHOA:
