Geophagus altifrons....I think???

Ha I'm no expert, I just happened to have the book (which was loaned to me over the xmas break) sitting in front of me. I'm hopeless at identifying them as we only get one true Geophagus species/variant here!

That reminded me. Xmas break is over...time to send that book back to me!

Thanks. I don't actually how old them were. They were pretty big when I acquired them from Grey, and grew quite a bit in the few months I had them. Had to take down the tank and they now live with a friend in Alabama. Hope I'd get them back one day but I doubt she'll let me...They are magnificent fish and I'm sure you'll enjoy them
