Nice. Not a fan of the ends of the fins. Looks like a spagetti noodle. Is there a function to these long fins? But the fish itself is nice looking

Freshwater exotics. They are found on Tapajos.

Here is an update. Split the group of 15 up to try and get the pair in the 220 to spawn. They always seem close but I have yet to find any fry. I removed 6 potential males to the 125 and kept the other 9 in the 220 gallon.

If you are going to try to spawn these you may want to move the plecos. They love caviar!!!
They will most likely eat up the spawn.

Ya you're right. I should have moved the group of females and a couple males over to the other tank. My old pair spawned with plecos but maybe not with these big guys.

Thanks alot. The tank is alot of fun to watch. I have 5 cichla moving over to this tank in 6 months or so. Looking forward to that too
