Geophagus and Pirhana's in the same tank!!! Really!!

I watched the video something like 10 times but still can't believe it, What will be next? sheep living in the same cage with lions??
I love Geopagus and they are one of my favorite fish, Why punting them in such a hell experience?!!!!

if anything it looks like the geo's rule the tank the pirhana's are owned!

I agree with you, Which is really strange and i mean weird spooky strange
The pirhanas look very well fed, But anyway i think it is a very fragile balance
Still can't believe it, It is crazy

Mostly you are right, But aggressive enough to out aggressive pirhanas?!!!
I don't have pirhanas myself beside they are illegal in Egypt - where i live- but a saw so many videos about them, I wonder if any pirhana owner may shed some light on that situation.

from what i have read u shouldnt believe the hype around pirhana's they are normally pretty shy and timid, and put it this way when it comes to spawning fish i have a pair of 3" convicts that easily see off my 8" oscar, 9" jd and 11" bichir when their spawning so it wouldnt suprise me!

First off, it says in the text on youtube that those Ps have never been fed live and had tankmates their whole lives. Second, the tank is more than 13 feet long...

Seems to work, I don't even see nipped fins on the Geophagus'.

Thanks for clarifying the text. I bet if he weren't to feed them for a few days, those geo's would disappear. I guess it's not recommended, but not impossible :)
