Well I've been seeing a lot pf pic around as of late, so I'll post some of mine too. Here are a few pics of the Geophagus (Satanoperca too) my friend and I keep. The pics aren't the best, but I can't do too much about that.

First up is my G. brasiliensis- this fish has been trouble since I got him- never stops fighting (in any tank, he has been in a few) and always getting beat up.

Next up we have Geophagus steindachneri- this guy is cool as hell. He acts like a little flowerhorn or something. The pics do not do him justice, the colors are amazing.

Next up- Satanoperca leucosticta- Bad mamma jamma.

And then we have- Geophagus surinamensis- This guy is pretty much the Bruce Springsteen of the tank. The first pic is without flash and the second is with flash. Damn these fish are hard to photograph:swear: There are a few smaller ones (last pic) too.

Nice Geos. I've kept every one of those species, and love them all.

Last but not least we have some Satanoperca jurapari(I think)- Still a little young but hear are two pics. One with flash and one without.

I would get more. Nothing cooler than a school of Geos.I started out with 2 Geos and they were cool, but a little sketchy. Then we added a few more and they start acting a lot more natural. Everytime another geo is added the fish seem to get calmer.

The Geophagus steindachneri are one of my favs. I also have one and he is a little bully in my tank. Im just looking for a male. The colors are amazing on them. How big is yours?
