Geophagus (and Satanoperca) pics

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Uhmmm... I guess. Jurapari are called Satanoperca jurapari:D . They used to be Geophagus jurapari. Jurapari, deamon, lillith, lucosticta (I know the spelling on all those has to be wrong) and some more used to be classified as Geophagus, but have since been moved to there own "complex", Satanoperca.

Nice geos bro.

I've got some 2 day old fry in a refugium from these guys right now.:D

I'll save some for ya bro.

I've got 2 mated pair, which spawn about once a week on average. The only problem is my psedas that eat the eggs every time!!!:irked:

Hopefully the new batch make it threw my 4 day vacation to Vegas. :D

Once a week? Your killing me. None of these have spawned yet, but none are from the same batch either. So it might be that they are not all mature yet. I'm hoping for lucosticta spawns sometime here. They are starting to act weird.

Vegas sounds like fun though, I haven't been there yet. You know if you need a baby fish sitter, I got holding tanks:naughty: .

Oh yeah, one question for ya. Do you use R/O, or are you using tap water?

G. brasiliensis went to a new home. My buddy, GEOPHAGUS JASON, has the rest. Now... I am Geoless:( . I plan on starting a new Geo tank once I get another big tank. I'm just running out of space.

I'm back in the geo game for a bit (growing out some G. sp. 'redhead tapajos') good pics coming soon.
