I suspect there are lots more out there than we know.Also received a younger group (6x) from Wes last week. The QT tank is very dark, but they do look like the same fish.

Things are going well. Eggs look good and parents are doing their job.
Fairly typical delayed mouthbrooder behavior. They dug a depression around 1.5' around the spawning site. Female is closer to the eggs while make guards the perimeter.

Eye spots appeared last night, and larvae were picked up this morning
Both parents are holding, so I guess it makes this species biparental delayed mouthbrooder.Looking for more larvae. There are couple more left (right in the middle, with black eye spots on them) but most good ones were already picked up.
