Geophagus Confusion...

Wow!!! I just checked out both the Acarichthys Heckelii & the Geophagus Surinamensis online. It would be easy to get them mixed up with each other. It appears the Surinamensis face is shaped differently than the Heckelii but of course that is just from looking at pics online.
Yep! Im excited about the true suri...I think it'll be intersting...Infact I just hope it wont be an a. heckelii..But the shop is ordering from where he got his soo...I guess it should be ok 
Yep this is definitley a Threadfin Acara...not a Geophagus at all (A.Hecklii) I got rid of mine earlier today because he was getting such a beating off of my Brasiliensis.
Mine was also sold to me as a Surinamensis .
Surinamensis have red and white striped tails and different shaped heads. (also get a fair bit bigger)

i bought a botia rio geophagus today or something to that tune, how do i found out what it really is its wasnt labled as either names mentioned.... need a pic?
he's quite tiny....
