It's always nice finding species that you have been searching long and hard for. Congrats on the pick up! I've never heard of these guys but I will be following their progression.

Thanks J! I assume (keyword) that they are similar to the remainder of the steiny complex in maxing out at 6"-8" in older males. They are amongst the smaller Geophagus species.

I remember Gage having some a while back. Haven't seen any myself either, so PICs!
 
Crassilabrus and pellegrini are among the largest of the red hump complex , steindachneri the smallest...
