A syno would be awesome for clean up. With the clown loaches, you need to get a group of them as they're a shoaling fish, but they could work too.

Thanks. My LFS has their little clown loaches on sale, that's why I was asking.

They're WAY cheaper to buy small than large, just takes a while for them to sprout up.

Should I get the Surinemsis or some Jurapari? The Surs are $10 each and the Juras are $8 each. They're all 2-2.5"...

Get whichever you'd like.. Get both if you want. Even if the Surinamensis is an Abalios or other, $10 is a good deal.

Would I need to put them in separate tanks? I'll probably have another one for you to ID tomorrow b/c he said he has some unknown ones and he's sending me a pic tomorrow.

Not at all. I have an Abalios and a Satanoperca in the same tank and they are fine. Eartheaters are a very docile cichlid, minus a few types not listed. Keep us posted, we'll be here
