Is it difficult to keep one male jurupari due to agression at spawning time?

If you want to keep a male, do you have to keep some females as well?

Would they be ok with a jack dempsey?

just asking..can mix i jurupari with my 10inch gar and 8 inch red tail asian arowana in 120G tank..cause i had run into a LFS that sell this fish for MYR 10.00 for a 5 inch jurupari..just wanna know..:confused::confused::confused:
