Agreed about the color. I'll have to wait and see after he settles more.If it changed it's color dramatically, it would be mostly from the stress of being netted, bagged, and dropped into a strange environment. Let it settle in for a week or two and see what happens. For now, by those photos @ 3" it looks female.

Check out my most recent response on the thread. I got a second Geo. I believe it is a male.My .02, it appears to be female.
I had a a Male with a harem of 4 females; although I suspect 1 of them was a submissive male (see pic). The alpha male's hump was definitely defined by the time he was 3" and his coloring was much more vibrant as well (sorry, cant find a pic of the male).
