Unlike my S. leucosticta, my Orange Heads are quite fond of the camera. Sat down for a few shots and they continued courting and establishing dominance as they were. Unfortunately they don't make it incredibly easy to shoot, but I still got some shots I'm fairly happy with.

Reason for so many photos? I've just sold off 5 of the original 11 in the Colony and wanted to properly document the remaining 6.

What kind of tank lighting do you use, and how many watts per gallon? My fish always look washed out but then I see hobbyists with all these vibrant cichlids. I think it's a combination of my poor lighting and my light blue background, which admittedly works better for discus than most other cichlids.

They are beautiful shots. I love the awesome stripes in the Geos' fins.
