I noticed that you are running a relatively small internal filter, but your tank looks perfectly free of debris etc. How is this managable? Do you vacuum often, and can i ask how, seeing as you are using such fine sand? Cause i've always had trouble cleaning my sand without sucking all the sand up aswell.

This tank also had an Eheim Pro 2228 on it, the Eheim Pickup you can see was just in there because it was lying around at the time, so I filled it with Purigen. I vacuum every change - just need to be careful how you use the vacuum, you can't use it like you typically would over gravel as you'll suck sand up as you've said, hover it 10-20mm off the surface of the sand and it will suck up pretty much all debris and only a small amount of sand (it's inevitable).
