Parents are drop dead gorgeous f1's with inexplicable color (search my previous threads to see pictures of them:)).
The fry are .5-1"
8 for $40 shipped via USPS priority
Any questions feel free to contact me pilani79@gmail.com

Anyone with an extra tank for some bahia reds? Easy on the eye and easy to care for.:D
I've kept them successfully with medium to large Central American cichlids with no problems at all.

$40 for 8+ of these in a neatly packed box at your doorstep:):):)

Seriously $40 shipped? That's a smokin GOOD deal! Any info on the parents? Who did they come from, any collection locale etc? Do you think they would go well (once some size put on) in my 250 gallon with an RTM pair + red hook school?

BUMP for a good dude and a good deal!!!!

Thanks! I got the parents 2-3 years ago from Ken Davis, a member and former vendor here on MFK. They were about .5" at the time.
To the best of my knowledge mine are f1 and that theof parents were originally collected in Bahia, Brazil. I'm sure an email to Ken would yield more info.

Whether or not these little guys will ever pick up enough size to go with your rtm's, I'm not sure- but if they were the same size I'd say go for it.

A buddy of mine has some from a previous batch growing out with some festae and he says that they out compete the festae for food and are growing faster. I think his are all in the 2-3" now. The mature, color up, and spawn young but don't get as big(or as nasty) as the festae, rtm's, etc so I doubt the mix would last forever but who knows. They've surpassed my expectations when it comes to dealing with rowdy tankmates, that's for sure.
