You just lost the bet mate, Festae are CA cichlids. Goodbye.

I'm not hostile either, just standing my ground at the haters.

This is a quote from one of the founders of the ACA...in the ACA's journal... So he made it up?

Matt

Yep i believe he is writing from hearsay.

Again, do you want involve money in this bet also?

Trust me i have tried to cross CA and Amazonian, they lay eggs, but nothing comes of it.

I am 29 years old, i have been actively breeding and importing for 15 years.

Why does this hurt everyone feelings so much? i do not follow the masses like a mindless Sheep.

' Amphilophus festae; Herichthys festae; Nandopsis festae'

From: Ecuador, Colombia

Notice something here?

If you are going to use true Geography as your argument, then alot of 'CA' Cichlids are North American.

And I'm still waiting for links and proof of these Geophagus x Convict hybrids.

Hence why i keep calling SA 'Amazonian'

...so how else would you differentiate SA and CA fish than by geography??!

...and all Geophagus aren't Amazonian...

Well, since you are adamant that Texas Cichlids are not CA, but NA by your reasoning..

Lets see some proof of these Geophagine x Convicts or Midas or Red terror even.

Also, lets see some proof of Festae breeding with any Amazonian cichlid.

True Geophagus species are from the Amazonian River Basins, and rivers attached, any Geos you have found in your local pond, have been dumped there ;)

Show me some proof then or act like n00bs, i bet my MFK account you cannot show me a Hybrid between a CA and a Amazonian or African Cichlid.

The Blood Parrot comment is hilarious!!

They are a short bodied Hybrid between a Midas and a Red Head Vieja.

Severums do not breed with anything but Heros species.

And i do not see how by disagreeing with you I am being hostile.

Right, I have proven about the Blood Parrots, i have put my statement out there, give me some photographic evidence of the challenge that you accepted or leave.

I am Bipolar, and i do not need the stress of you repeating yourself, in a obvious attempt to aggravate me, so i will check back on this thread tomorrow to see what evidence you have come up with.

Sorry for being mortal and being able to make mistakes. At least i have a new piece of knowledge. I think I've actually visited the site before and forgot lol.
