That's a very interesting fish. Do you have only one? The lateral bars are totally messed up (so the speak). G. dicrozoster is a possibility, but the tail is a bit too spotty and I don't see an obvious cheek mark.

Ya I only have one, I was gonna get some more but we sold out. I was thinking of having out person who orders em get me two more though. What do you mean the lateral bars are messed up? I'm not super good with geos just yet so I'm trying to soak this all in as best as I can. Do you agree that this is a G. dicrozoster or do you think it's something else?
 
yeah if you got from lfs then i doubt they are true suris, normally true suris you have to actually order from a reputable breeder/importer...

I see, that's ok though I still like this guy just as much regardless :)
 
Its just a bit too young to ID correctly. As Peter said there are no facial markings and the Y doesn't look right to me. BUT the fish is young so who knows. Let it grow an inch or two and IDing it will be a lot easier.
