I know Peter's setup but Dave how many do you have and in what size tank?? What else besides rainbows are in with them? Love the tanks and the fish.. Sue:D

I'm sure they'll be gorgeous in no time! The fry I got from Ed are starting to show some color too. Very cute...

I don't know for sure they're males, just assuming. They're much larger and more colorful. They're larger than my two adult females at this point.

I have 16 total fry, 14 from one source and 2 I picked up at a swap meet from another. They're all still just in a 20g growout. After I took the pics I moved the Rainbows to a QT. They were just in there because I did not want them in the QT with another sick fish while I was gone for a weekend (in case the other guy died). I might pick up a 40g for them since the 20 is getting crowded.

Peter, glad to see the youngsters are coloring up! Your young adults are really looking great too. I like the contrast between them and the Guianacara stergosi, they are a really attractive mix!

Ed

Thanks Ed, and you know why I put them together:). I saw some 3-yo adults yesterday and realized they actually get fairly big, so no more new fish for the 120. One pair of the G. stergosi took over about half of the tank and spawned twice in less than a month. They still get along tho...

The juvie G. tapajos OH are very fun to watch. I almost want them to stay small :)
