they had three huh, hmm
well i know they at first had two males, ralph and norton
then two females were added, alice and trixie
then the two original males died and two new ones were added
so it seems that they must have lost one recently.:headshake

I didn't put any effort into counting them, so they may have another that I didn't see.

Aren't the cats in the ceiling tank? It is the only tank that isn't having problems with high PH from leaching from the concrete or something. (IE that is why the gars got moved, the discus/altums died and a lot of other things...) They have tried resealing with a few things but only fish like the lake malawis and the salts are doing well... Except for that large tank that has it's entire base as its view window.

Native cats were in the ceiling, but I didn't see any amazon fish there.

Ah you might be right. So they may be dead, or they may be in the back, taken out since they were getting a pounding. I had a friend that use to volunteer there and was around when they had to pull all there p-bass, I think they but gar in that tank. (The one on the left when you enter the fresh water part.) I haven't heard anything recent on there troubles with the fresh water, but I know they have been trying very hard to best it.

I think they are down to three. But with that tank and how it's set up and it's over all size, the general public only sees about 1/4 of it (believe it or not). Another section is able to be seen by a VIP window - but even then the whole thing is not able to been seen.
