A vid of one of my tanks this one with a slew of residents but it's the Geo's that have been beginning to color up that have been catching my eye lately. Always out and about, constantly helping out by sifting the sand and forever photo bombing. I can't seem to take a pic of any of the other residents without at least 2 of them racing into the pic. Other CA/SA cichlid inhabitants include two Super Red Spot Sev's other SA inhabitants include a Aro and Centro. Watch the vid in 1080 for best picture and let me know what you guys think of my current set up.

Thanks man, much appreciated and it's nice to see another Tri-Stater on the forum. I'm hoping to add more driftwood, I like creating a shady retreats for the cichlids and cats; hopefully it makes them feel more secure. Other change I'm hoping to do soon is add garnet as a substrate, I'm hoping it'll cut down on the reflection off the glass making the retreats darker and maybe make the coloration of the fish more vibrant due to the increased contrast.

The first week I added geos to my tank they dug there own retreats under driftwood and rocks. The second week after they were added they didn't bother to use them anymore. Similar to yours all of my geos are on at the glass waiting for me to give them some food, really nice fish. Also the sevs are really nice, and the aro gets some nice contrast from the lighting. Overall I would have to define myself as terribly envious.

My Geos only use the driftwood at night, other then that like yours they're front and center. I got the Sev's at around 2 inches or less and they're about the size of my palm now, still have plenty of growing to do. Have to say the coloration between them as juvies and now was night and day. Thanks again for the compliments it's much appreciated.

Lol! That's a good way to look at it. Thanks again! Honestly though I myself often get surprised at the lack of responses but it doesn't bothers me much. I see everyone who looks at the thread and even see how many times they visit it and I just hope they enjoyed what I shared. I love the hobby, I love my always evolving filtration, trying to enhance my pic taking, decorating a tank on a budget, trying to breed fish that haven't been bred before, trying to build a balanced yet unusual community as well as helping fellow hobbyists when I can. So the rest is what it is some threads and members are just more popular then others.

By the way, if ever you feel like you need help or just have any general question and just can't seem to get responses feel free to pm me. My knowledge is decent in most aspects of the hobby and I'll definitely help if I can. Again thanks for the comments.

Sweet Tank Wow! I am planing on doing somthing like that, Really dig the low light driftwood planted amazonian tank set ups. Great job with that
