Geos What do I have!

wow that really is a pain sometimes it loads sometimes it does not. they are kind of getting red in the fins. please id!

Geophagus altifrons, looks like Rio Tocantins but I'm not 100% sure.

they where sold as a geo s sp. i think its surimensis?

or something like that. they dont look like the little ones you have they have some red in the fins sometimes have 1 darkspot.


I have 6 of them but maybe then you could be right!

Going by body shape and colour, as well as the colouration and pattern in the caudal fin, I'm pretty confident they're G. altifrons. Still hard to tell with Juveniles and the quality of the photos.

Looks similiar to the Geo. Altifrons "tapajos" I have around the same size...I'll try and get some pics

I think thats what they where sold as. dont know this store i got them from is great. but sometimes they mis-label a lot of stuff.

anyone have pics of larger ones?
