its a growth of some sort. Without sampling it could be tumor or infection. The fish is still acting ok?

It seems to be, Still eating, breathing looks good, Hiding but not more than ive noticed in the past. Fin function still seems to be good. Color seems ok.
If it is an infection of some sort, what kind of treatment could i use to deal with it? If its a tumor I figure there isnt really anything i can do.
Hello, I know this is a really old post but my german ram has exactly the same tumor like growth and I want to know if the infection treatment worked? Thank you so much!
