I recently started keeping fish again and picked up a pair of rams as well as some others. Well they breed and I decide to see if I could raise the eggs. First two batchs I assume fungus got it. They turned white. So the third batch pulled it out of the main tank. didnt expect the fry to survive in my main anyway. Well they hatched and doing well. I used peroxide 1 drop every 200ml to prevent the fungus. Kept them in a mason jar. I think it was close to a 80 percent hatch some eggs left on the rock. I assume I may have pulled them just a little early. to me they looked like they were done and were taking turns fanning.

I included a pick of my main tank. It looks like there are more fish in then there is. i think is reflection of the back glass. And the current tank 3gallon im raising in. Plan to move to a 29 gallon. When a little bigger.

They just laid a new batch. its like clock work every week. And they batch seem to be gettin larger.

It looks good so far. I combined two batches of eggs in one tank. I included some pics. There eating egg yolk finely ground and bbs. I think I could raise these guys and drop them off at the LFS for a bigger tank. There healty eaters and gettin bigger. I do daily water changes from my main tank. It seems that there is a low death rate. I suppose its the weak ones maybe 5 a week but there extremly small. The big guys in the pic about 2 weeks old. The others a week or so behind. Its awsome.

I wait about 5-6 days before I start with egg yolk 3x a day. Very small amounts otherwise its just a mess. This is for a week.
Then BBS 2X - 3X a day I make sure theres always some swimming around.

congratulations

Good job!
