Well I dont know what to say. The fry were doing great and started feeding egg yolk again since the younger ones were just starting to feed. Stopped feeding bbs. It seemed ok as both batches were eating. They all had yellow bellies. Well that was a bad mistake. I assume the older fry by about 10 days turned on the younger if this is possible. I have about 45 fry left all seem to be from the first batch A few from the second maybe 5. About a 1/4 or bigger. I couldnt find any of the other younger guys alive or dead. All the older fry had full bellies that were dark in color. Big disappointment I counted them as I transfer them from the hatching jar to the tank pictured above. 183 that looked healthy.
Is this possible. Or is it more likly the younger ones died and they feed of of them. But then I assume the older ones whould have died as well. This all happened when I was at work.
Well the parents are about to spawn again. I am going to seperated by spawn groups then transfer to the raisng tank.
