Ah not yet it was a bad fish, died on the way home, didnt look good as the lady netted it. was barely moving or anything, so im taking him back and getting something else. but he was sold as a common pleco but he didnt look like it, he was black with about 4-5 faint white strips
 
Alright ha cause thats what are in my 29g tank, those were the fish i ever had, had him for about 5-6 years!!
 
Make sure you know what you are dealing with - GBRs are not that easy to breed. They spawning all the time (weekly sometimes) but are bad parents and don't take care of the fry (if you get that far). Once hatched the fry are too small to eat brine shrimp and too picky to eat prepared fry food.

Your best bet is to take the egg out and put them in an established tank with perfect temperature and water conditions. Leave about 3-4 inches of water and feed microworms in the beginning.
