either way something like this is just a guide for beginners, nothing beats looking up answers based on talking to experienced aquarists or aquarium literature/internet resources

This is just a guide, mainly for beginners. It would be best if they would just leave any advanced fish out of it. Nothing beats researching on your own.

Now its a wide known fact that if you chose to keep more than 1 aro (any type) you should have at least 3!

Oh, is that a fact?:D

ive used it before and it worked pretty well... but i only used it for deciding between a new guppy or a platy lol

Aww I thought it was the type where you enter the fish name then it shows a list of compatible fish, I wanted to enter arapaima or a rhom =P

it said oscars should be kept in groups of 6 or more. Thats a biiiiiiiiiggggg tank.

I guess my tank will go to war one day since I shouldn't keep my bala sharks with my red tail shark? lol

I saw a fish war, when I kept my rainbow shark and the red tail together (Bad Idea) they had some epic battles. You don't know how fast your fish are until they are battling it out.

That's a pretty neat thing since I am a beginner. I always try to check multiple sources before I make a decision on a new fish though.
