so let me get something straight here....ACA requires you to pay a fee to be a member then you pay a fee to vote???? I just don't know too much about ACA

you are trying to stir the pot and you aren't even a member of the ACA. Nor do you have the $25 to vote. You have as many posts as the guys who are complaining and you don't even know Mo.

Mo is asking for members to Vote. He is your vote if you are a member...but if you don't like him, vote for someone else.

Nope but this board participates in USA's right to free speech. Mojo has a history of being an asshat to me and one or two others agreed. That's all the was brought up. And whether you plan on voting or not it's more about telling someone who shows up out of the blue asking for votes how you feel about him on a board where they won't ban you if you disagree, and won't pile on someone for having a different opinion.

You were right this board is way different that WW... And I agree with most of what Nuth has said. If you have a personal experiance good or bad share it. Let mojo take responsibility for treating a couple people along the way like he did and move on. No one on this forum needs you to take up for them. Not even Mojo.

I'm not so sure that is the specific reason. Some claim that there is no such thing as bad publicity. And Mo is the publicity chair

It probably has more to do with the growth of alternative sources of accurate information, which this website is part of. It is very refreshing and creditable to see MFK prominently post its support of the ACA, and allow threads such as this one regarding ACA voting & membership.

Irregardless of personal stances on particular members, I would encourage everyone here to take a look at the ACA, what it has to offer, and what YOU have to offer it.

If you do have questions about the ACA, ask any member here, or better yet ask Mo directly. It will afford you the opportunity to learn how the ACA represents your interests and the chance to draw your own conclusion about his suitability on the BOT.

If he is no longer banned, why does that concern you? Why don't you ask your admin who allowed him to return, and ask if his former status is of any real concern.

Sometimes in a quick meeting you can come accross as arrogant although I believe you to be nothing but a passionate and helpfull person.

Last year I met you for the first time and we talked about FH, you listened to my thoughts and gave me yours but you were never rude or condescending.

I'm a member of the ACA but I have no idea what it really does, the website is not user friendly and in 3 years I have never once recieved a news letter. I emailed who ever the website said to and never heard back.

Why do I continue to join and pay my 25.00? it's because I respect members like "BobRfish" and yourself and if you guys think the ACA is important then thats good enough for me.

Many of the guys on this site are my friends and they are entitled to thier opinion, even if they are wrong..... LOL

You have my vote..... I better check and see if I have paid for this year yet.... the ACA never sends me a reminder.

The Peacock Bass is a Cichlid and that currently seems to be the "it" fish on here. I have been on this site since day one and its the only site I post on and I feel that this board is definitely a Cichlid board but MFK also has such a large following that almost every fish under the sun is talked about here. I dont think you can really just stick the "Monster" genre to the community here. I feel that MFK is a community for anyone who has an interest in fish to come and discuss them here.

Santoury was wrong as to why he sees no reason for ACA to be brought up here. This site for x reason(albeit a good one) has a interest in the ACA and keeping relations strong. This whole thread is not about the ACA itself but more a direct hit to one of the members.

No one can speak for this site except for Li the admin. Reverse, everyone else reading.. You surely know that. So stop throwing that out there.

So No one is speaking for MFK in regards to ACA/Mojo. This is all just personal business that I felt like bringing up since I wouldn't be able to bring it up anywhere else without a banning, post deletion, suspension or a gang up/pile of mojo fanatics.

Freedom to bring up politics like this while keeping it civil is what makes this site so great.

I think everyone has made their speech here. We don't need everyone who doesn't even normally post here coming over to take up for anyone.

AquaMojo asked for something, in a straightforward and honnest manner.. Two guys in here ( which, by the way, I appreciate ) gave their reasons for not voting and explained their grievances in a straightforward and honest manner..
