Whats the plan for new inhabitants?

I'll have to see what Fish Room Plus or the Shark Aq have available once the tank is all set up and cycled. NGT, plecos, maybe Chalceus macrolepidotus as ditchers?!

 great to hear. I kept one ... the guy who always went after the other two. I separated them but at the end had no other choice than getting them out of his tank. I am glad they enjoy their new home!

All right,

No leaks, so the project could continue. 150 lbs of 3M colorquartz and 40 lbs high-quality plant substrate Sera Floredepot later. The plants you see are Anubias barteri var 'angustifolia' and Anubias barteri var barteri 'Broad Leaf'. They grow on rocks and driftwood and obviously don't need substrate. Kent liquid ferts added. The substrate is for an Echinodorus-forest in the back... more updates will follow. NGT and Hydrocotyle leucocephala will follow this weekend with cycled Eheim.

Decor only, with DIY background

With plants

Didn't use the full 200 lbs

You should try this

Adding substrate. Huge rock rests on eggcrate to distribute weight

The first inhabitants of the tank: My cleaning armee: Malaysian Trumpet Snails - Melanoides tuberculata

Cloudy, but water is getting polished as I am writing this
