Hey guys my 60 gallon tank is infested with snails and I haven’t done much about it due to me upgrading. I finally got my new set up
How do I clear my plants and driftwood from snails before transferring to new tank? As well as media ? Should I stick everything in boiling water lol

Good luck. You know the line from "Jurassic Park"..."life finds a way"?

They got it wrong. It should have been "Snails find a way..."

What kind of fish do you have or plan on getting? Your problem may solve itself with the right fish

I have discus, ram, and angelfish
And they are mystery snails I believe lol there is a crap ton

What kind of loaches do you recommend at 84-86 degrees ? Clowns

I haven’t kept many loaches, but I did keep clowns in one of my garage tanks when I lived in PHX and they did well and the water over the summer was around 88f. It also handled my MTS snail problem in a couple weeks.

Thanks for the input
I searched online for good loaches to control the snails and came across
1. Kuhli loach
2. Zebra loach
3. Yo-yo loach
I’ve kept yo-yo and clowns in the past
So I might switch it up this time around and try the kuhlis
