ah grasshopper you will learn lolololololol

just kidding

I agree with the posts saying that fish is priority. But then again you'd be surprised if you finally find that special someone who you will be willing to give up the hobby temporarily.

My exs and GFs almost routinely ask me if which I would choose, them of the fish. Its always them of course. We guys don't want an argument.

Give up the hobby forever??? NEVER!!!

But congratulations though! Now that you're married, there should be more motivation to get a better paying job, get the house, and build an in-wall monster tank! At least that's one of the things I look forward to when I get married.

well I have been married for 13 years, my wife and I have never had a fight and we have 7 kids and 1 in the oven.

while people may not believe that we have never had a fight or even an argument it is the truth and it is also a very easy thing to accomplish. If you follow 2 basic rules.

1.Never hide anything from each other absolute transparency in every detail is the the absolute necessity for a good marriage, I will give an example.

One time we were taking part in a 4 day long food festival in our city's central park where you come set up a mobile restaurant and put forth the best food you can for the four days. You make 2-4 dishes and sell them for a set coupon price and then turn in the coupons at days end and get your cash next morning.

Well while my wife kids(4 at this time) were out and about spending some of the coupons we had made in our booth at other booths a very interesting thing happened.

3 shall we say loose lucies came to my booth and they wanted more than something to eat if you get what I mean. All the while I am like trying to brush them off without being rude, when in reality I was very quickly getting to the point of not being polite they took the hint and went and parked themselves at the picnic table just across from my booth and give me the looks. Then I see my wife coming from the other direction, as soon as she came near enough to the booth I told her what had gone down and she says oh trust me I could see it, she gives me this big smile a big kiss and then turns around and just smiles at these ladies. If you could have seen the looks on their faces ahhahahahhahahhahahahhahhah.

Not that I am mr good looking but these kind of things happen a few times and about this I must say THE ONLY REASON WHY THE GRASS SEEMS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FENCE IS BECAUSE OF ALL THE MANURE OVER THERE DONT DO IT THE MANURE IS NOT WORTH THE WALK.

In situations like this I think of my good reasons to remain pure to my wife right now there is 8 reasons 7 kids and 1 wife.

The transparency does not only entail that area but is about every area likes dislikes hopes dreams passion etc...

Along the same lines is this statement LOVE CARES MORE FOR SOMEONE ELSE THAN IT DOES FOR ITSELF. So do your very best to operate in love for your spouse.

2. This deals with children, when you have them do not grow old inside. Do everything in your power to remain a child yourself have fun with them because they are the best toys they dont need batteries, yeh sometimes they get messy but be messier they will love you for it! And most importantly with kids you can never tell them enough that you love them.

I heard one time this statement about kids CHILDREN OFTEN FAIL TO LISTEN TO THEIR PARENTS BUT THEY NEVER FAIL TO IMITATE THEM.

Also try not to ever see your kids as a burden standing in the way of your own personal journey rather take them along for the ride they will love you for it.

with out kids I do my very best to make sure that their own personal hopes dreams and visions are encouraged so they can forge their own unique individuality, with some care to keep them from harm of course.

For pics of my family I have some in my treasured moments thread, here is the link
