Well I did some math and found out that it was a10 gallon 😕 so can I still keep salwater fish in a tank that size ?

You should use a bigger tank for a first saltwater setup...such small volumes are not very forgiving when it comes to fluctuations in water quality and such

You would almost be better off going back to the person you bought it from and getting your money back, then getting a 20 . I wouldn't do the 2.5 as that would be a waste of time and money IMO.
