My advice would to use crushed flake crushed or baby brine shrimp. Try some blood worms if he is big enough. They wont starve to death if there healthy, just keep trying he might still be little nervous. Also like the guy above said having more than one could help him feel secure. Just noticed how old the thread is....hope everthing is going well.
