I would actually make a point to not overfeed him, burms can be fed quite enough and not get really fat.. Just lots of people like feeding them huge meals, with the result being an obese burm. Yes actually. It was a 7 foot (obese..) columbian boa. I did not pick it up with just the hook, I used the hook to maneuver it out of it's cage, then picked it up with my hands.Lepisosteus platyrhincus;4958875; said:have you picked up something that size with a hook?
The only reason I'm wary about doing that is that full dwarf burms tend to be very shy and insecure, and I'm not sure how much that will do to the half dwarf.
