ya i know that bottom piece of glass is designed to hold at least 1.5 tons, but i'd be nervous that i'd step on it and put a stress fracture in it.....but maybe i jus need to take my skirt off and realize that the glass will hold. lol

its likely 3/4" thick, so no human could ever break that just by standing in it.

even 1/2" will hold easily. but no thinner.

So everything ran smoothly, fish are happy and for the most part so am I. One thing is wrong that I didn't consider. The pump is extremely loud, like REALLY loud. It's a Gen-X PCX-40, anyone have any experience with these?

if only my house would support something like that.. did you have to do any floor modifications or is it going on concrete slab?

It's on the basement floor, I finished my basement a few years ago, it's really small...

So the tank fogged up today while I was at work, I am pretty P.O'd lemme tell ya.
yesterday Before the sump it was crystal clear. Now that the sump's hooked up it got cloudy WTF! Any ideas on what happened? All the parameters came out perfect yesterday, I haven't checked today though.,..
