I currently have no snakes just 2 bearded dragons a sulcata tortoise and leopard gecko but I've had many types of snakes before including ball pythons, red tail boas, sand boas, milk snakes, king snakes, and my brother currently has a western hognose so I've had my experience and can house just about any size I'm interested in either an albino Burmese, amazon tree boa, tree python or green anaconda any other suggestions or experiences with snakes I'm interested in will be appreciated thanks

u'd have to explain your setup, I dont want to tell you any suggestions and say a burmese is great and your only have a 125 or lower, they get HUGE so do the red tails and anocondas next to reticulated pythons are the biggest worldwide. the tree boas are cool to watch and have, if u want to handle them the ones your interested in are some mean snakes, just bad tempered other than the burmese.

I wouldn't be buying any of the snakes as adults so if I did get a burm it would be in a grow out until I build it a bigger tank the current tanks I have are a exo Terra tall 20 gallon with the 2 glass doors on the front I forget what's its called but I thought this would be good for some kind of tree boa or python as a grow out and I have a 65 gallon tank but id probably go out and buy some rubber maid bins for any snake I buy except tree boa or tree python my budget is 250.00 so if I could get a tree python for a good price ill grab one and I might grab a baby alligator snapping turtle if they have any

and I really don't care if I can handle the tree boas/pythons they look to pretty to even complain about not holding them and I have a 30 gallon also

A burm can hit 10' or more in its first year of life; same deal goes with the anacondas. For example, my two burms have been growing at a rate of about 1" per week, so I'm looking at having two snakes that are at least 6' by the time that these two are a year old in July. You're going to need a minimum of a 6' x 3' x 2' cage for an average-size male burm; a big female will need an even bigger cage. These snakes will outgrow the aquariums that you have in a matter of weeks. You're also going to need someone who's going to be able to help you handle the snake when it gets bigger since these snakes are super strong and can get pretty heavy.

In my opinion, a carpet python is the best choice for you. You'd be good to go with a 3' x 2' x 2' cage for an adult carpet python, and they still get to be a decent-size. You should be able to get a nice one that fits your budget, too, although a jaguar might be out of your price range.

If you absolutely must go big, then get a burmese python that's not just an albino morph (maybe an albino granite or albino green). These are probably the most docile of the giant snakes, so they're your best bet for a first giant.

EDIT: You could also look into half-dwarf burms; they're supposed to stay under 10' as adults.

Ya I'm going to try to find a Jaguar sibling those usually look pretty nice and are cheaper then jags... I had no idea that burm grew that fast I'm 99% sure I'm not going to get one now same with the anaconda so looks like ill be getting a carpet python or tree boa or python and some kind of baby snapping turtle depending on what they have ill let you guys know what I get I'm going to the all new England expo in Manchester new Hampshire next Sunday its suppose to be 40% bigger than last year but I've never been to this one I've been to the breeders expo in Dayton beach Florida which was awesome where I picked up a beautiful female beardy and where my brother got his western hognose also a very cool snake thanks for the info

I'd just get the jaguar-sibling carpet python and skip on the snapping turtle at this point; snappers grow pretty fast, too, and get huge.
