cool little turtle. They should be cool together while still small you'll probably want to keep an eye on them when they get bigger. They do usually show more aggression towards their own species though. The ones i keep are pretty mellow with the exception of the new guinea snappers. I currently keep 4 species of Elseya, cool turtles!
Yes, they are still referred to as snappers even though they are sidenecks. This is only a common name used. There are several turtles from that region called snapping turtles. Ha Ha and yes they do snap once in a while.
