I tried the powerhead idea with a 12gph, still no luck. I have two rena xp3s, one primes perfect, the other... no matter how much I shake it, prime it, put a powerhead to it, I still have a waterline about an inch below the lid. Any other ideas?
I have 3 - XP3's.. after cleaning I put them in the sink and fill it until it overflows.. give it a few shakes to release trapped air, then I put on the top and latch down.. I almost never have any issues doing it this way..
Thanks! I tried it that way and it worked! I was at my wits end with it. I have owned 4 XP3s over the years and none have given me this much trouble but this one was bein stubborn. I guess the sink method will be standard ops for me from here on out.
