Hey all I am new to this site. I used to keep a lot of fresh water fish. Mostly Oscars and Red belly Pacu's. But I have had all kinds of Cichlids. Currently the only fish I have is a beta sitting in a one gallon tank, but now that Collage is done, and I have a steady job I was hoping to break out the old fish tanks again. I found this site because I have always wanted to keep an arapaima and I was looking up information on them. I really wanted to know if my 80 gallon tank would be big enough to house one or if I needed to get a bigger tank. (Looks like I need a much bigger tank.) This site is awesome. More info on the kinds of fish Im interested in then I ever could have hoped
. Oh and who knew a google search on arapaima would lead to a personal boycott of monster energy drinks.
Getting back into keeping fish.
